The list of things to prepare before a machine goes in is shorter than a barbecue shopping list. Three items, sometimes four. Alnos Vending takes care of the rest.
A Spot Inside the Building
All three models stand indoors. A canopy by the entrance is still outdoors. The spot should be reachable for the people who will use the machine and shouldn’t block a walkway or an emergency exit. How to pick the exact spot is in the guide on where to put the machine.
A Separate Earthed 230 V Socket
The machine needs its own earthed 230 V socket. Not an extension cord, and not a power strip shared with the kettle. If there’s no socket, say so at the start of the conversation.
Signal or Wi-Fi
The machine reports sales and stock online, so it needs mobile signal (4G), and where the model supports it, it can use Wi-Fi. We check this before choosing the spot.
Water, for the Coffee Machine Only
The Coffee Machine needs water: from bottles inside the machine (a mains connection only where we confirm it for the site). We choose per site and write it into the contract. Details are in the guide on coffee machine water. The Snack & Drink Machine and the AI Smart Cooler need no water.
What You Don’t Prepare
- the machine itself, because Alnos Vending places it,
- the stock, because Alnos Vending refills it,
- the installation and first switch-on.
