A guest at 6 a.m., before a train. The receptionist at 6 a.m., after the night shift. Both want the same thing, and neither wants to wait for the restaurant to open. A coffee machine in the hotel’s shared area solves that small problem on both sides of the desk.
This Guide Is Only About Coffee
Machines in hotels in general are covered in the guide on the machine in a hotel. Here we stick to one model: the Coffee Machine in a shared area, inside the building. Hotels are also on the Places page.
Where to Put the Coffee Machine
- in the lobby or by reception, where a guest can go without a room key,
- by the elevators on a floor, if guests can use the corridor,
- in a lounge area, if it’s open all day.
Always indoors. A terrace or a covered entrance won’t do.
A Screen for Guests from Abroad
The machine has a 22″ touchscreen that runs in Polish and in English. Guests don’t have to guess what a button means. Coffee from freshly ground beans goes into a takeaway cup.
Water and a Socket, as Everywhere
The hotel provides a separate earthed 230 V socket and signal. Water is agreed per site: bottles inside the machine, with a mains line only where confirmed for the site in the building. We write it into the contract. Details are in the guide on coffee machine water.
The Front Desk Doesn’t Become a Café
Alnos Vending tops up the beans, soluble products, cups and, where used, lids, and services the machine. Reception doesn’t open anything. It’s enough to know where the label with +48 84 300 10 10 is.
Payment
Payment is cashless; we confirm the details when we set the machine up. There’s no coin slot, so guests don’t dig through their pockets for change.
Write to hello@alnosvending.pl, call +48 84 300 10 10, or fill in a Golden Ticket, the machine inquiry form (not a prize draw). One form, one conversation about your place.
6 a.m. looks better with a cup in hand. On both sides of the desk.
