The First Switch-On Is Not the Receptionist’s Job

The machine arrives and stands against the wall, and someone at reception looks at the screen wondering whether they need to “click” something. They don’t. The first switch-on is Alnos Vending’s job.

Who Does What on Installation Day

  • The company: provides the agreed spot inside the building, a separate earthed 230 V socket and access to the spot.
  • Alnos Vending: brings in and positions the machine, connects it, switches it on, configures it and stocks it.

For the Coffee Machine, add water: bottles inside the machine, with a mains line only where confirmed for the site, as agreed in the contract.

What Reception Doesn’t Do

Run a setup wizard, set prices, enter passwords or change screen settings. Reception gets no keys either. That isn’t an oversight; it’s the division of work written into the contract.

What to Prepare Before Installation Day

A clear route to the spot, access to the building at the agreed time, and the name of whoever from the company will be on site. Details are in the guide on what the site provides.

After the Switch-On

Sales start only once Alnos Vending has checked the machine after switch-on and completed the required formalities. It will carry a Polish label with +48 84 300 10 10 and hello@alnosvending.pl. That’s the only “manual” reception needs.

Where to Read More

Reception can get back to the guests. Looking after the machine is our job.
