A glass door, shelves, a bottle in your hand. The AI Smart Cooler looks more like a shop than a machine, so someone might think the deposit works differently here. It doesn’t. The rule is the same as on the snack machine.
A Separate Line, Here Too
In the AI Smart Cooler (AF-CFZ-510), the deposit on bottles and cans in the deposit system is shown separately from the product price. Just like on the Snack & Drink Machine.
What About Food?
Food carries no deposit. The deposit applies to packaging in the deposit system, meaning bottles and cans with the right mark.
Where the Deposit Comes Back
At shops and collection points, not at the cooler. The cooler doesn’t take empty packaging. The packaging needs a readable mark and barcode; no receipt is needed.
The Deposit Isn’t Our Revenue
We don’t count it in sales, which is why we don’t mix it with the price. Details are in the guides on the deposit not being our revenue and the bottle deposit.
How Payment Works at the Cooler
How payment works at a given site is confirmed when we set the cooler up. We don’t give deposit amounts, because they come from the law. Product categories are on the Products page, questions in the FAQ.
